Especial : When I´m Sixty – Four
Como homenaje a Paul en su cumpleaños, nada mejor que comentar sobre esta canción, incluída en el mítico Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. Se estima que la canción es un 85% de Paul y 15% de John. La instrumentación es como sigue. Paul : bajo, piano, voz solista y voces. John : guitarra solista, voces. George : voces. Ringo : batería. Músicos de estudio : clarinete contralto, dos clarinetes.
La canción no tiene mayores pretensiones. Es sencilla, pegadiza, intimista, con algunos toques de lirismo y de ironía. Transcribo a continuación la letra completa :

Me encanta esta canción. Sé que los críticos no están de acuerdo, pero hace muchos años que me importa un bledo lo que piensen ellos. Parafraseando a Groucho Marx, si se fueran a Mongolia por cien años no creo que los echaríamos en falta.
